If you've found a cat or dog or any other pet...
We are always pleased for people to add details of pets they have found to our database so we can help to reunite lost pets with their rightful owners. We welcome your information on a pet you have found.
There is no charge for adding found pets.
All communication with owners of lost pets is done through our Secure Messaging Service using a unique 'Messaging Name' which you create. It's up to you if/when you give out your phone number/email address to a 3rd party.
Pets Located will automatically check the 'lost pet database' for matches – and will check your entry against all new lost pet registration in the future. If you would like to know more about how Pets Located works and how the matching process works, please click here.
When you first add your details, we will send an activation e-mail to the e-mail address provided before making your listing live. Once you have validated your entry, you can add as many 'found' pets as you like and they will show on this site immediately.
For Animal Welfare Organisations, Vets, smaller cat, bird, ferret and other animal rescues, click here to see the benefits to you when using this website as your 'lost and found book'.
All 'found' and 'lost' pets registered on Pets Located are immediately posted to Twitter and other websites via RSS Feeds for maximum exposure (and are regularly re-tweeted by our followers - we have over 13,100).
You can also print an unlimited number of free, ready-to-use, 'Found Pet' posters from within your account.
We have also provided some basic guidelines on what to do when you have found a pet which you may like to consider.
