We are always pleased for people to add details of pets they have found to our database so we can help to reunite missing cats, dogs, parrots and other pets with their rightful owners. We would welcome your information on a pet you have found.
There is no charge for adding found pets.
When you first add your details, and those of the pet you have found, we will send an activation e-mail to the e-mail address provided before making your listing live. Once you have validated your entry, you can add as many 'found' pets as you like and they will show on this site immediately.
People looking for their pet will never be given your contact details by PetsLocated.com — it is up to you whether/when you give your e-mail address/phone number etc. If you would like to know more about how Pets Located works and how the matching process works, please click here.
All 'found' and 'lost' pets registered on Pets Located are immediately posted to Twitter and other websites via RSS Feeds for maximum exposure (and are regularly re-tweeted by our followers - we have over 11300).
You can also print an unlimited number of free, ready-to-use, 'Found Pet' posters from within your account.
We have also provided some basic guidelines on what to do when you have found a pet which you may like to consider.
